Reshaping the faces of tanned pelts is honestly pretty simple! The “30 seconds or less” explanation is that you soak the hide in water until it’s supple, then reshape it to your liking and let it dry in that new position. Of course, there’s a bit more to it than that, and since I like being thorough when asked for help, I’ll gladly elaborate.

I’m putting two faces that I’ve had for awhile in salt water right now (I’m slightly germophobic).  Super excited to finally find a method of rehydrating them!  I will report back with results!
